Welcome to my genealogy website. I started researching my family history in 1998, shortly after my son was born. He was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, which is a genetic disease that affects mainly the lungs and digestive systems.
Since this is a genetic disease, I am determined to find out WHO
in my family history had CF. Of course as we all know, back in “those days” people did
not have a diagnosis for CF or many of the other diseases we know of
today. But I can still
search for the family members that had the symptoms of CF then get more
info on them and decide for myself whether this particular family member
might have had it or not.
**I am excited to have found 1 person who had CF (Daniel Lynn Skiver), which means that the following people are carriers of the CF gene...
|
David Skiver |
OR | Eleanor McCullock |
| Augustus Skiver | Isaac Skiver | |
| Daniel Skiver | George Henry Skiver | |
| Perlie Skiver | William Isaac Skiver | |
| Daniel Lynn Skiver | Betty Mae Skiver | |
| James Pontious | ||
| Dawn Pontious | ||
| Tyler Hunt |
**and 2 people that possible had CF (David Pontius, Flossie Marcille Malone)
